INVERTED AUTO 倒飞熄火着陆
Just like landing a fixed wing plane model, auto rotation is a very attractive maneuvor, especially inverted auto. The following photos of me doing inverted auto was taken by the F3C champion Zhang Songhua. His photography skill is just as good as his heli flying skills.
The key for inverted auto is keeping proper positive pitch to maintain optimal auto rotation and smooth gliding. Make sure you put on zero pitch when executing the half flip before touch down. Any drastic pitch, elevator or aileron changes will consume a lot of energy. Check the one way bearing and tail rotor system to ensure minimal friction. Be careful, auto rotation is very addictive.
